Active Mystery Gift Codes for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet

The Mystery Gift feature remains one of the most reliable ways to obtain free cosmetic items, competitive resources, and exclusive gear in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. By entering special distribution codes or connecting to the internet directly through the game, trainers can expand their collection without spending a single Poke Coin.

This guide contains only currently valid codes. Each entry includes the exact reward, version restrictions, and any additional requirements. Follow the instructions below to claim every available freebie before the distributions end.

All Working Mystery Gift Codes

The following codes are active and redeemable as of the latest update. Trainers should claim them as soon as possible, since several distributions may conclude without prior notice.

How to Unlock the Mystery Gift Feature

Before redeeming any code, the Mystery Gift function must be unlocked. This happens automatically after the player visits the first Pokemon Center in Los Platos. The tutorial section leading to this point takes approximately one to two hours of gameplay, depending on exploration pace.

Once the Pokemon Center has been entered and the healing sequence completes, the Poke Portal option appears in the main menu (opened by pressing the X button). Inside the Poke Portal, the Mystery Gift submenu becomes accessible.

How to Redeem Mystery Gift Codes

All redemptions require an active internet connection. A Nintendo Switch Online subscription is not necessary for claiming Mystery Gifts.

Mystery Gift
  1. Press X to open the main menu.
  2. Select Poke Portal from the right-side menu.
  3. Choose Mystery Gift.
  4. Select one of the following methods:
    • Get with Code / Password — enter one of the codes listed above exactly as shown (codes are case-insensitive but must include all numbers and letters).
    • Get via Internet — use this option to claim the Mythical Pecha Berry without entering a code.
  5. Confirm the download and wait for the reward to arrive.

Items are sent directly to the Bag, while Pokemon appear in the active party or the nearest open slot in the Pokemon Boxes. If the party is full, the game automatically redirects the creature to storage.

Important Redemption Notes

Version-Exclusive Codes

Codes prefixed with S (such as STRACKSU1T and SB00KC0VER) function exclusively in Pokemon Scarlet. Codes prefixed with V (such as VTRACKSU1T and VB00KC0VER) work only in Pokemon Violet. Attempting to enter a code from the opposite version results in an error message.

DLC Requirement

The Mythical Pecha Berry is only available to players who own The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero expansion pass. Trainers without the DLC will not see this option when selecting Get via Internet.

One-at-a-Time Downloads

When using Get via Internet, only one gift can be downloaded per session. If multiple internet distributions are active, repeat the redemption steps for each individual item.

Checking Past Gifts

To review previously claimed rewards, select Check Mystery Gifts inside the Mystery Gift menu. This log displays every code and internet gift ever redeemed on the current save file.

Troubleshooting Common Issues

  • Code not working: Double-check that the game is updated to the latest patch. Some distributions require version compatibility.
  • Gift not appearing: Verify that the Bag or Boxes have free space. Restart the game and check again.
  • Internet option missing: Ensure the Nintendo Switch is connected to Wi-Fi. The console can connect to the internet without an active Nintendo Switch Online membership.
  • DLC content unavailable: Confirm that the Area Zero DLC is purchased on the same Nintendo Account used to launch the game.

How to Stay Updated on New Codes

The Pokemon Company typically releases new Mystery Gift codes during major livestreams, championship events, and seasonal promotions. The most reliable sources for announcements include the official Pokemon website, Nintendo Direct presentations, and the in-game Poke Portal News section (accessible from the Mystery Gift menu).

Bookmark this page and check back regularly — the table above is updated as soon as new distributions go live or existing ones expire.
