Rainbow Six Siege Sensitivity Calculator - ADS, eDPI, cm/360

Rainbow Six Siege Sensitivity Calculator

Calculate your R6 Siege eDPI, cm/360, and ADS sensitivity for every scope. Convert from other FPS games, match hipfire feel across optics, and fine-tune with FOV and multiplier settings.

Rainbow Six Siege uses a unique sensitivity system with separate hipfire values and per-optic ADS multipliers. This calculator covers the full workflow: measure your current feel, generate consistent ADS values, and convert settings from other games while keeping muscle memory intact.

R6 Sensitivity Calculator

Default multiplier is 0.02. Advanced players sometimes lower it (0.002 or 0.001) for finer control and higher in-game sens numbers.

Used to generate recommended per-scope ADS values that keep a consistent feel relative to hipfire.

Enter your sensitivity from another game to get a starting R6 hipfire value. Then refine ADS below.

What This Rainbow Six Siege Sensitivity Calculator Does

The tool focuses on the three numbers players actually use when tuning aim:

  • eDPI - DPI multiplied by in-game hipfire sensitivity. A simple way to compare overall speed.
  • cm/360 and in/360 - How far you move the mouse for a full 360 degree turn. This is the physical measurement that stays consistent across setups.
  • Per-scope ADS values - Recommended advanced ADS numbers for 1.0x through 12.0x optics so scoped aim feels closer to hipfire.

How R6 Sensitivity Works

Hipfire uses a 1-100 slider plus an optional MouseSensitivityMultiplierUnit in GameSettings.ini (default 0.02). Lowering the multiplier gives finer steps and is popular among some pros. ADS uses separate values per optic magnification after the Shadow Legacy / Y5S3 changes. A single legacy ADS number no longer controls every scope the same way.

Common scopes and their role:

  • 1.0x - Red Dot, Holo, Reflex - most common close-range sights
  • 1.5x / 2.0x / 2.5x - Magnified sights used by many attackers and some defenders
  • 3.0x / 4.0x / 5.0x - Higher zoom for longer angles
  • 12.0x - Glaz and similar high-zoom optics

How to Use the Calculator

  1. Enter your mouse DPI and current (or target) hipfire sensitivity.
  2. Leave the multiplier at 0.02 unless you intentionally changed GameSettings.ini.
  3. Set your vertical FOV (most PC players use 84 or 90).
  4. Optionally enter a preferred ADS base and aspect ratio to generate per-scope values.
  5. To switch from another game, select it and enter your sensitivity there - the tool suggests a starting R6 hipfire value.
  6. Click Calculate and copy the ADS table into the advanced ADS settings in-game.

Tips for Finding a Good Sensitivity

  • Most competitive players land roughly in the 25-50 cm/360 range, but comfort matters more than copying a pro.
  • Change only one variable at a time (DPI, hipfire, or a single ADS scope) and test in the shooting range or Terrorist Hunt.
  • If scoped tracking feels faster or slower than hipfire, adjust that scope ADS value in small steps.
  • Keep the same DPI across games when converting - it makes the physical feel closer.
  • After changing the multiplier in the .ini file, recalculate everything - the in-game slider meaning changes.

Important Notes

  • Results are starting points. Always verify in-game; FOV, aspect ratio, and monitor size affect perceived speed.
  • Ubisoft may adjust sensitivity behavior with patches - re-check after major updates.
